About the Author: Egyptian novelist and journalist and editor-in-chief of the Egyptian newspaper Akhbar Al-Adab. The owner of a unique novelist project, in which he was inspired by the Egyptian Arab heritage to create a wonderful novelist world, which is today one of the most mature novel experiences. In 1963, Al-Ghitani was able to work as a painter in the Egyptian General Organization for Productive Cooperation, where he continued to work with the institution until 1965. He was arrested in October 1966 on political grounds, and released in March 1967, where he worked as a secretary for the Egyptian Cooperative Society for Makers and Artists of Khan El-Khalili, to 1969 AD In 1969, Al-Ghitani again switched his job to become a war correspondent on the battle fronts for Akhbar Al-Youm. In 1974 he moved to work in the investigative journalism department, and eleven years later in 1985 he was promoted to head the literary department of Akhbar Al-Youm. Al-Ghitani founded Akhbar Al-Adab newspaper in 1993, where he served as the editor-in-chief. In the pre-press period from 1963, when he published his first short story, to 1969, he published an estimated fifty short stories, but from a practical point of view he started writing early, as he wrote the first story in 1959, entitled The End of the Drunkard. Critics began to notice it in March 1969, when he published his book, Papers of a Young Man Who Lived a Thousand Years ago, which included five short stories, and some critics considered it the beginning of a different phase for the Egyptian short story. يضم مختارات من نثر هذا المفكر والاديب الذي عاش في عصر شهد الكثير مني الاضطراب السياسي والاجتماعي رغم ازدهار »الثقافة العربية« فيه, واعني عصر القرن الرابع الهجري. نشأ »وراقا« و »ناسخا« للكتب في بغداد. من خلال هذه الحرفة يكسب قوته وما اشقها من حرفة واقل ما تدره من مال على صاحبها. قال فيه »ياقوت الحموي« صاحب »معجم الادباء« »ابو حيان التوحيدي شيرازي الاصل »وقيل نيسابوري. قدم بغداد, فاقام بها مدة, ومضى الى الرّي وصحب الصاحب ابا القاسم اسماعيل بن عباد, وقبله ابا الفضل بن الصميد, فلم يحمدهما. كان متعففا في جميع العلوم من النحو واللغة والشعر والادب والفقه والكلام على رأي المعتزلة. ومع ذلك لم ار احدا من اهل العلم ذكره في كتاب ولا دمجه في ضمن خطاب. في مقدمة كتابه يقول جمال الغيطاني معلقا على تجاهل عصر »ابو حيّان التوحيدي« لصاحب هذه القامة الشامخة »بدأ ابو حيان التوحيدي« يتيما, عصاميا, ولو ان ثقافتنا العربية تحترم الموهبة لصار جهد ابي حيان من اجل تحصيل العلم وتكوين نفسه مثالا يُحتذى, ودرسا يُلقن لمن هم في بداية الطريق. لكن جرى التعتيم عليه. لم يصل من اخباره الا القليل«.

About the Author: Ali Abu Al-Hassan Bin Abdul Hai Bin Fakhr Al-Din Al-Hasani – His lineage ends with Abdullah Al-Ashtar Bin Muhammad Dhi Al-Nafs Al-Zakiya Bin Abdullah Al-Mahad Bin Al-Hassan Al-Muthanna Bin Al-Imam Al-Hassan the greatest grandson Bin Ali Ibn Abi Talib. Some of his grandfathers, Prince Sayyid Qutb al-Din Muhammad al-Madani (AD 677 AH), immigrated to India at the beginning of the seventh century AH. He was born in the village of Tekkeh in the district of Rai Bareilly – in the northern state – (Uttar Pardash) in India. He began learning the Holy Quran at home with the help of his mother, then he began to learn the Urdu and Persian languages. His father passed away in the year 1341 AH (1923 AD) when he was still less than ten years old. His virtuous mother, and his older brother, Dr. Abd al-Ali al-Hassani, who was also a medical student after graduating from Dar al-Ulum Nadwat al-Ulama and Dar al-Uloom Deoband, raised him. He started learning Arabic on Sheikh Khalil bin Muhammad Al-Ansari Al-Yamani in 1342 AH / 1924 AD and graduated from it. He also benefited – in studying the Arabic language and its literature – from his uncles Sheikh Aziz al-Rahman and Sheikh Muhammad Talha, and expanded on it and specialized in Professor Dr. Taqi al-Din al-Hilali when he presented his presentation in the Symposium of Scholars 1930 AD. He attended the celebration of the Scholars Symposium in Canfort in 1926 AD, and attracted the attention of the participants in the celebration with his Arabic words, and some Arab guests used him for his travels outside the venue of the ceremony. He joined the University of Lucknow in the Arabic department in 1927 – he was the youngest student at the university – and he obtained a certificate of Fadel of Literature in Arabic language and literature. He read – during the first days of studying the Arabic language – books considered to be at the top in the Urdu language and literature, which helped him to carry out the duty of advocacy, explain the correct Islamic idea, and convince the educated class of modern culture. He studied the English language between 1928 – 1930 AD, which enabled him to read books written – in English – on Islamic subjects, Western civilization, its history and development, and benefit from them directly. He joined the House of Science for the Symposium of Scholars in 1929 AD, and attended the lessons of the noble hadith of the scholar, the hadith educator Haider Hassan Khan – and he had studied the book of Jihad from Sahih Muslim on his sheikh Khalil al-Ansari – and he needed two whole years, so he read to him the two Sahihs, the Sunan Abi Dawood, and Sunan al-Tirmidhi letter by letter. Lessons in the interpretation of al-Baydawi also, and he read some books of jurisprudence to the sheikh, the jurist, the Mufti Shibli Al-Jiragpuri Al-Azami He received the interpretation of selected surahs from his Sheikh Khalil Al-Ansari, then he received lessons in interpretation from Sheikh Abdul Hai Al-Faruqi, and attended the lessons of Al-Baydawi by the modernist Haider Hassan Khan, and studied the interpretation of the entire Holy Qur’an – according to the special curriculum for graduates from Islamic schools – on the scholar Ahmed Ali Al-Lahori in Lahore In the year 1351 AH / 1932 AD. He resided with the Mujahid scholar Hussain Ahmad Al-Madani in 1932 in the Dar Al-Ulum Deoband for several months, and attended his lessons in Sahih Al-Bukhari and Sunan Al-Tirmidhi, and benefited from it in interpretation and the sciences of the Noble Qur’an as well. He also benefited from the scholarly jurist and writer Azaz Ali in jurisprudence, and from the reciter Sheikh Asghar Ali in Tajweed on the narration of Hafs. He died on Friday, Ramadan 23, 1420 AH corresponding to December 31, 1999. In the village of Tekke Klan in the Ra’i Barili District (Yobi), India Dr. Syed Abdul Majid Al-Ghouri has an extensive book in his biography entitled (Abu Al-Hasan Al-Nadawi, the Imam, the Thinker, the Preacher, the Educator, the Writer), which was printed several times in the House of Ibn Kathir in Damascus. He also wrote in his biography Dr. Muhammad Akram Al-Nadawi, Dr. Muhammad Ejtba Al-Nadawi, Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi and others.

About the Author: Dr. Muhammad Kamel Hussein (1901 – 1977), born in a village in Menoufia Governorate, was raised by his older brother after the death of his father while he was still young. He was the first in the baccalaureate (currently high school), and also remained the first in his squad at the Faculty of Medicine in Qasr Al-Aini, where he graduated at the age of only twenty-two years, after which he was sent on a study mission to Britain, where he obtained a fellowship degree at the Royal College of Surgeons. He was the first Egyptian to obtain a master’s degree in orthopedic surgery from the University of Liverpool. He is rightfully considered the pioneer of orthopedic medicine in Egypt, as he established the Department of Orthopedics and contributed to the establishment of the Red Crescent Hospital in Cairo. In 1950, Dr. Taha Hussein chose him as the first director of Ibrahim University (currently Ain Shams), but the administrative complexities and political maneuvers prompted him to resign from it after two years. He was a member of the Arabic Language Academy and the Egyptian Scientific Academy, which he headed more than once.

عرف شاعرنا صاحب هذا الديوان، في التاريخ بلقبه “المؤيد في الدين”، وعرف أحيانا بالمؤيد فقط، فجميع كتب الدعوة التي أشارت إليه تعرفه بذلك. أما اسمه فهو “هبة الله” ويكنى بأبي نصر، أما اسم أبيه فقد اختلف فيه فقيل موسى وقيل الحسين، إلا أن جميع النصوص التي وصلت تدل على أن الشاعر هو هبة الله بن موسى بن عمران وتتفق جميع النصوص على تسميته “بالسلماني” نسبة إلى سلمان الفارسي. كان المؤيد عالماً من أكبر علماء عصره، وكان واسع الثقافة والعلم بما كان يدور حوله من مختلف ألوان الحياة العقلية والأدبية، وقد شارك في هذه الحياة العقلية فتلك الحياة الأدبية وكان نتيجة ذلك كتباً وضعها المؤيد وأصبحت من أمهات كتب الدعوة الفاطمية، بل لا تزال إلى اليوم في نظر طائفة البهرة من كتبهم المقدسة التي لا يصل إليها إلا من درج في علوم مذهبهم وبلغ أعلى درجاتها. وقد كان المؤيد معلماً له تلاميذ استمعوا إليه وأخذوا منه حيث كان له عظيم الأثر في الدعوة الفاطمية ولا تزال كتبه إلى الآن من أمهات الكتب التي لا يقربها إلا شيوخ الدعوة الطبية في الهند واليمن أما أثره من الناحية الأدبية، فهو أثر ضعيف لا يكاد يذكر، فأشعاره ورسائله ومناجاته التي استشهد بها علماء اليمن لم يذكروها إلا لإثبات عقيدتهم الدينية، ولم يحتفظ علماء الدعوة بديوان المؤيد إلا لأنه أثر من الآثار الدينية ومن كتبهم المقدسة التي يقرءونها بعد الصلاة أو قبلها على النحو الذي يتبعه الصوفية في قراءة الأوراد. ولو لم تأخذ أشعار المؤيد هذه الصفة الدينية لضاع شعر المؤيد كما ضاع شعر غيره من الشعراء. ومن خلال ديوانه، يحاول المحقق الكشف عن شخصية المؤيد داعي الدعاة، وبالتالي إظهار حقيقة الفاطميين التي ظلت موضع شك مدة طويلة. وقد عمد المحقق إلى إغناء هذا الديوان بدراسة شملت حياة المؤيد في الدين وعقائد الفاطميين في شعر المؤيد ونظرة في شعر المؤيد.
