زيرمطالعہ كتاب رفع الملام عن ائمة الأعلام میں اكابرعلماء اورخصوصاً ائمہ اربعہ كی جانب منسوب اس غلط فہمی كا ازالہ كیا گیا ہے كہ انہوں نے دانستہ حدیث نبویہ كو نظرانداز كركے اپنے مقلدین كو اپنے اقوال وافكاركی پیروی كا حكم دیا- امام ابن تیمیہ –رحمہ اللہ- نے دلائل وبراہین كی روشنی میں ثابت كیا ہے كہ ایك عالم اورامام بھی ایسا نہیں جس نے شعوری طورپرحدیث نبوى سے صرفِ نظر كرتے ہوئے اپنے اقوال واعمال كو دین میں حجت قراردیا ہو- امام تو كیا كوئی مسلم بھی اس فعل شینع كی جسارت نہیں كرسكتا- شیخ نے پوری تفصیل كے ساتھ ان اعذارواسباب كی نشان دہی كی ہے جن كی بناپربعض احادیث كے مطابق بعض حلقوں میں عمل نہ كیا جاسكا،1- مثلاً ان اسباب میں سے ایك سبب یہ ہے كہ بعض اوقات ایك عالم علم وفضل كے باوصف كسی حدیث سے آگاہ نہیں ہوتا اور اس لئے وہ اس پرعمل كرنے سے قاصررہتا ہے-اس ضمن میں نے انہوں نے شیخین ابوبكروعمررضی اللہ عنہما كی مثالیں دی ہیں كہ تمام ترعظمت وفضیلت كے باوجود بعض احادیث سے آگاہ نہ تھے،حتى كہ ان سے كمتردرجہ كے لوگوں نے انكو ان احادیث سے آگاہ كیا اورانہوں نے بصد شكران احادیث كوتسلیم كیا اورانكے مطابق عمل كیا- 2-ایك امام بعض اوقات ایك حدیث كواس لئے نظراندازكردیتا ہے كہ وہ حدیث سنداً اس كے نزدیك صحیح نہیں ہوتی،بلكہ وہ اسكو ضعیف اورناقابل اعتماد تصوركرتا ہے- 3-كسی حدیث پرترك عمل كی ایك وجہ یہ بھی ہوتی ہے كہ وہ ایك امام كے مقرركردہ شرائط پرپوری نہیں اترتی،اگرچہ دیگرمحدثین اس كو صحیح اورقابل عمل قراردیتے ہوں،على ہذا القیاس پورا رسالہ اسی قسم كے اسباب واعذارپرمشتمل ہے. مترجم:پروفیسرغلام احمد حریری- تقدیم،تحقیق،تخریج:محمدخالد سیف سن طباعت:1979ء ناشر:طارق اكیڈمی-فیصل آباد.
