Abdul Wahab Mutawa was married and had a son and daughter (Karim and Reem). His closest friends were the great writer Ahmed Bahgat and others such as Dr. (Mahmoud Emara), (Sami Metwally, Salah Montaser and Izzat Al-Saadani), whose friendship relationship lasted for 40 years.
