About the Author: Adham Al-Sharqawi is a Palestinian writer born and raised in the Lebanese city of Tyre. He holds a teacher’s diploma from UNESCO, a diploma in physical education from UNESCO, a BA in Arabic literature from the Lebanese University in Beirut, and a MA in Arabic literature. He worked for the Qatari newspaper Al-Watan. He began writing on the satirical forum platform, then published his first book in 2012, entitled Morning Conversations. He publishes his writings under the pseudonym “Qass bin Saeda”. He is married and has a son and three daughters.

تدورُ أحداثُ الرّواية في غزّة، أما الزّمان فهدنة بين حربين، فغزّة محكومة بالحرب كما الأرض محكومة بالدّوران ! أبطالها حمزة الشاب الجامعيّ الذي ضاق عليه ظهر الأرض فوجد في بطنها متّسعاً، يحفرُ الأنفاق استعداداً للمعركة القادمة ! وأسماء الفتاة الجميلة في مطلع العشرين يلتقي بها حمزة صدفةً فتعجبه، وتنقلب حياته رأساً على عقب، وتنشأ بينهما علاقة حُبّ جارفة تنتهي بالزّواج. وبعد شهر يُعتقل حمزة ويُحكم بالسجن لسنوات، فيقرران تهريب نطفة لينجبا رغماً عن أنف إسرائيل وزنازينها، فكلاهما يؤمن أنهما لا يُنجبان أطفالاً وإنما جنود للمعارك القادمةة ، ويتمّ لهما الأمر !
