About the Author: He is a prominent religious scholar and thinker from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He was born in the month of Jumada Al-Awwal 1376 AH in the town of Al-Basr, one of the suburbs of Buraidah in the Al-Qassim region. His lineage goes back to Bani Khalid. He holds a master’s degree in the Sunnah on the subject of “alienation and its provisions”, and a doctorate in the Sunnah in explaining the attainment of Al-Maram (The Book of Purification), was one of the most prominent of what they were called the sheikhs of the awakening in the eighties and nineties. عشتُ كثيراً مع سير العلماء والمصلحين،وخاصة أئمة المذاهب الأربعة المتبوعة في العالم الإسلامي،ووجدتٌ سيرهم مدارس في التربية والسلوك والأخلاق، كما هي مدارس في المعرفة والتعليم، بل هي تؤسّس لانطلاقات جديدة حضارية في البيئات التي تهيمن عليها، متى أحسن الناسُ قراءتها وفهمها. ومن هذا المنطلق كتبتُ ورقات في سيرة كل إمام منهم، حاولتُ أن تكون جامعة بين المتعة والفائدة والتوثيق، ثم أعدتُ النظر فيها لاستخراج الجوامع والفروق، التي تؤكّد على وحدة المنطلقات والأصول في هذه المدارس، وتَنَوُّع الاجتهادات والآراء، تحقيقاً لمعنى الرحمة والسعة، ومراععاة اختلاف البيئة والظرف التاريخي فيما أذن الله تعالى أن يختلف الناسُ فيه، حيث تسعهم شريعة ربهم في بَحبوحَتها وامتدادها، حين يضيق بهم المذهب الخاص،الذي يتّكئ على الشريعة، ولكنه لا يدّعي الإحاطة بها والتعبير التام عنها.
