الحق أن مالك بن نبي كان سباقا في مجال الحديث عن فكرة الكومونولث الاسلامي.. وكلمة الكومونويلث كانت مشهورة في ذلك العصر خصوصا الكومونولث البريطاني وممتلكات بريطانيا العظمي فيما وراء البحار.. لكن الرجل لم ينساق وراء هذا الوهم, وأكد أنه يؤمن بالدين الاسلامي من الناحية الحضارية.. وذهب إلي أن فكرة كومونويلث تستمد مسوغاتها من الخريطة السياسية والحضارية والتي نشرت رقعتها علي الكرة الأرضية حيث تركزت القوة في محور واشنطن وموسكو واستتبع ذلك وحدات جغرافية وسياسية كمنظمة حلف الأطلنطي والمنطقة السوفيتيةـ ومنطقة الوحدة الهندية. ولأنن المفكر يحسب له أنه كان سباقا في فكره فلقد تحدث مالك بن نبي عن الربيع العربي بلغته في حينه عندما بشرنا بأن المنطقة العربية إما أن تقوم بثورة للعوامل النفسية والاجتماعية الخاصة به.. وإما أن الثورة تاتي من الخارج في غياب قيادة حكيمة ترسم له خطة سيره!
