Two short story collections were published by him, The Extinguishing of the Orphan Boy, published by Dar Al-Marreikh, Cairo, 1987 – Madarik 2015, and The Court of the Last Lady, published by Dar Al-Shorouk, Amman, 1989. In the following years, he also published 12 colored books for children, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and Information, and the King Abdulaziz Public Library. The Saudi Research and Publishing Company.
And about the Arab Cultural Center in Beirut, a novel entitled “Riyadh, November 90” was published.
He will soon publish his second novel, “The Footings of Time”, the “Book of Diaspora” collection, “The Outskirts of Heaven” collection, and poetic narratives for children entitled “The Birds River”.

كتب سعد الدوسري هذه الرواية قبل عشرين سنة، وهي تلامس الواقعة الاجتماعية بتفاصيلها. غير أن سعداً لم يجرؤ على نشر الرواية، ومثله كان كل أصدقائه الذين تناوبوا التناصح معه في عدم نشرها. ولقد شاعت الرواية بين الأيدي، بالتصوير والتهادي، حتى لقد صارت أشهر رواية عربية غير منشورة. ولو نُشِرتْ في حينها، لأحدثت ضجة كبيرة ومدويّة، لأنها كانت فعلاً أول رواية سعودية تغوص في العمق وتضع اليد على الممنوع والمسكوت عنه. عبد الله الغذامي على الرغم من مرور كل تلك السنوات، إلا أننا بقينا نسعى لإقناع الأستاذ سعد الدوسري بأن يسمح بنشر هذه الرواية، ويسعدنا أن تخرج هذه الرواية أخيراً وتكون متاحة للقراء، فهي رواية، عدا عن موضوعها الشيق، تستحق القراءة لقيمتها الفنية ولقيمتها التاريخية أيضاً، إذا أخذنا بعين الاعتبار تاريخ كتابتها. والجدير ذكره أن هذه الرواية قد نالت جائزة وزارة الثقافة والإعلام السعودية لسنة 2012 في مجال اللغة العربية وآدابها.
