About the Author: Egyptian poet. He was born in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, and lived his childhood in Al-Beheira Governorate. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Journalism in 1968. He began his working life as an editor in the economic department of Al-Ahram newspaper, then as a secretary for Al-Ahram Editing, and he is currently the head of the cultural department in Al-Ahram. في السنوات الأخيرة حدثت جريمة كبرى في مصر بسبب التوزيع العشوائي للأراضي.. لقد تم توزيع ملايين الأفدنة على مجموعة من الأشخاص دون سند قانوني أو دستوري أو إنساني.. ووجدنا الأراضي المصرية تسقط فريسة عمليات تخصيص غريبة كان من أخطر نتائجها ضياع ثروة مصر من الأراضي؛ وقد تناولت هذه القضية من جوانب كثيرة، ورصدت كل ما أحاط بها من القرارات والأخطاء والتجاوزات، وفي هذا «الكتاب الوثيقة» جمعت معظم ما كتبت حول استيلاء مجموعة من البشر على مساحات هائلة من الأراضي دون وجه حق.. إن اختلال منظومة العدالة الاجتماعية في مصر كان نتيجة هذه الجريمة البشعة التي ارتكبها عدد من المسئولين ورجال الأعمال في حق أجيالنا القادمة، ومثل هذه الجرائم لا تسقط بالتقادم، ولعل هذا الكتاب وما فيه من حقائق يكون وثيقة تاريخية كاملة الإدانة لمرحلة اختلت فيها منظومة العدالة وجعلت مجموعة من الأشخاص ينهبون ثروة شعب.. مثل هذه الجرائم لا تموت لأن الحساب قادم. أقدم هذا الكتاب لأجيال قادمة، أنا على يقين أنها ستكون أقدر منا على حماية هذه الأرض واسترداد حقها في تراب هذا الوطن
