About the Author: He was born in the city of Mansoura, educated in its schools, and graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at its university, and obtained the degree of higher specialization in psychiatry and neuroscience from the Institute of Higher Studies of Physicians in Kyiv (the capital of Ukraine), and also obtained an additional specialization in alternative medicine from the same institute. He practiced psychiatry in Egypt and worked as a clinical specialist at Pavlov Hospital. He left medicine and joined the family of the editor of Al-Araby magazine in the year 1992 AD, then returned to Egypt, and lived for a period in Syria. He is now the editor-in-chief of Al-Araby magazine from Cairo. He is the author of seven story books, a science book on alternative medicine, an e-book on travel literature, and two story books on environmental culture for children. Naguib Mahfouz said about him: He is an outstanding talent in the world of short stories. Youssef Idris said: We can form from his stories a bouquet of the most beautiful world stories.
