About the Author: Sir David R. Hawkins, PhD in psychiatry. He was a nationally renowned psychiatrist, researcher, spiritual teacher and lecturer. The uniqueness of his contribution to humanity comes from the advanced state of spiritual consciousness known as “Enlightenment,” “Self-Awareness,” and “Unio Mystica.” Such a spiritual condition rarely occurs in the life of an accomplished scientist and physician therefore, Dr. Hawkins was uniquely qualified to offer a scientifically compelling spiritual path to modern society.

Success Is for You book pdf download By David R. Hawkins

Who among us would not like to be successful? How many people do we know who aspire to mediocrity, or worse, to fail intentionally? Likely no one. If everyone wants to be successful, then why do so few people attain true success in our world? In this book, Dr. David R. Hawkins explores these issues and offers pragmatic guidelines that direct us to the source of real success—a way of being in the world. This manuscript was originally drafted in 1991. Since then, almost everything in our world has changed technologically. The proliferation of the Internet’s availability worldwide has made many earlier information systems obsolete. Nevertheless, we will discover that the basic principles for building success remain much the same. Dr. Hawkins encourages us to try these timeless principles for ourselves. Readers will see that Dr. Hawkins draws on his personal experience as a World War II veteran, businessman, psychiatrist, and scientist to illustrate the points he wishes to make. Some of the examples he uses naturally reflect earlier time periods in his life. (How many movie theaters currently use answering machines?) Still, the points he makes are not lost, despite their references to things that more recent technology eclipses. The combination of his humor and unpretentious communication style makes us feel a part of the journey he lays out before us.

The Map of Consciousness Explained book pdf download By David R. Hawkins

The first time I saw my husband’s Map of Consciousness, it was on a chalkboard in the hallway at home. I asked him, “What’s that?” He said, “Oh, that’s the Map of Consciousness.” He explained to me that he’d created it to help people understand the world. “Each level of consciousness has its own view of life, view of God, view of self, emotion, and process. On a single chart, you see the entire world. It shows a path out of the pits of despair all the way to the state of Enlightenment.” As soon as David explained the Map to me, I saw how it could bring hope to humanity. For decades he had worked as a psychiatrist with all kinds of people who were suffering, even cases of extreme mental illness. He knew the importance in psychiatry of giving someone a tool to inspire them to come out of their despair. He created the Map as a tool for learning and inspiration. I said, “You’ve got to share this with people!” He told me he wasn’t sure he wanted to go out into the public, so I spoke the words I knew he couldn’t refute: “David, this Map would really help people!” After that, he published his first book about the Map, Power vs. Force: The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior. Little did I know that we’d spend the next 20 years traveling the world, sharing the Map of Consciousness. When I was onstage with him, I witnessed how he would say things in a powerful way and suddenly people’s faces would light up—they got it! It was so fulfilling to see that response and to know that someone’s life was changed. For Dave, it was never about himself—he cared only about the message and its impact on others. He had a contagious sense of humor; it was impossible not to laugh whenever he was laughing. He didn’t care about appearances or getting approval from others, because he knew who and what he was.

Discovery of the Presence of God: Devotional Nonduality book pdf download By David R. Hawkins

Prior written works plus recorded lectures have provided an organized body of information and verifiable data that have occasioned numerous study groups worldwide and translation of the works into the world’s major languages. Consciousness research has resulted in the widespread dissemination of essential information not previously available to mankind. While the primary thrust of consciousness research was to facilitate spiritual awareness and identify verifiable truth, it was also educative to apply the same techniques to elucidate the evolution of consciousness and its expressions over time as various facets of civilization and history, as reported in Truth vs. Falsehood. These included a study of the world’s great religions and the verification of teachers and teachings of spiritual truth over the ages, which are of great pragmatic value to the spiritual seeker. The totality of the foregoing results in a distillation of critical premises that constitute the essentials which need to be known in order to facilitate the evolution of spiritual consciousness in the individual seeker. This is especially so for the serious devotee of spiritual truth as the pathway to Enlightenment. The way is both confirmable and subjectively experiential. Thus, the pathway of Devotional Nonduality is a direct course to Enlightenment via clarification of core essentials that merely await activation by decision, intention, and dedication of the will. While revered literature and scripture by teachers of spiritual truth and enlightenment are available worldwide, their historic works were not written, verbalized, or contextualized for ready comprehension by the modern person who is now more formally educated. The current human mind is often put off by seemingly extraneous teachings that are intertwined with traditional religions, such as unfamiliar languaging or ecclesiastical doctrine that incorporates primarily ethnic observances of time and location. By over-inclusion, the extraneous becomes confused with the essential, thereby decreasing appeal as well as credibility and clarity.

The Saint, the Surfer, and the CEO: A Remarkable Story About Living Your Heart’s Desires book pdf download By Robin Sharma

This book is a work of fiction which blends spiritual values and principles to advocate for a new paradigm in the way you think. Essentially the values it speaks on behalf of remind us that how we think, will create the circumstances that will enter our lives via experience. It tells us that the Universe is vibrational in nature, and we attract the identical vibration we ourselves put out into the world. If we put out negativity, we get negativity back; if we put our prosperity and love, we see that returned to us in abundance. Really, the choice is ours. What do you have to lose and try it? Ok, I am a proponent of the wisdom: in other words, I am applying these principles into my life however poorly. My bias, therefore, is intended to advocate for the book. Sharma is a pretty good writer, and keeps one riveted to the narrative. I read the book in two sittings! The protagonist in the book is Jack a young man disillusioned with his life and numbed down from chasing ephemeral values of material gain. Like real life events, sometimes the Universe brings us to a threshold moment in our lives offering us a chance to change. Such is the case for Jack who gets into a severe car crash only to discover his authentic fate while sharing a hospital room with his dying father who he never met previously. The chance(?) encounter sets up the emerging path Jack will take to discover his authentic self: might we call it the true self waiting inside all of us to be born and live the life we were meant to live. The book unfolds from that point onward having Jack embark on what Joe Campbell called a “heroes journey” by seeking out mentors his father knew previously when he was younger to impart a powerful wisdom. The three mentors provide Jack with life tools on how to live life impeccably which includes practical knowledge and deep wisdom. Jack who is eager to embrace the values the wisdom point takes up his task with a refreshing curiosity and one of the norms the author is trying to impart by proxy to us the readers: in other words, curiosity is a doorway to personal transformation. The purpose of the book is to develop this wisdom, in hopes that it will also be taken up by the reader. A point made clear by the author who asks the reader to apply these principles in their lives, but also to share them with others as often as possible. The narrative mirrors the same advice back, as Jack travels the world and begins to intuit the wisdom as a foundational font to be shared with everyone he meets. I will not go into any further details of the wisdom or where it takes Jack in his quest for the authentic self. I will say that the book is inspiring (at least I found it to be so); this may not be true for everyone but I remain an eternal optimist that we can cultivate our inner landscape and things can bloom again inside our own hearts. But no one can do it for another. Nevertheless, and I speak from anecdotal experience, my life has begun to change slowly and positively by applying the norms of an ancient wisdom and I think it will do the same for anyone who reads this book. Of course, only you can decide if this is something of value to you. No one can walk this path for another. But if you take it up, perhaps we can transform the world into sustainable solutions for all including our Earth Mother. The consequence is that you may awaken mystery and joy again inside the deepest reaches of your being, and remember what it was like when you were a child surprised by everything. I have had glimmers of this again, and think you might too.
