تقدمت نحو الركن المظلم، فبدأ الظلام يرتفع شيئا فشيئا، وجدت نفسها تسير في ممر لا تعرفه، وتدخل غرفة غير واضحة المعالم, لم تميز فيها سوى مكتب ضخم، وظل رجل يجلس خلفه. جلست أمامه وهي تحاول اختراق الظلام لتري وجهه، دون فائدة. بدأ الرجل يتكلم، فلم تفهمه.. كانت حروف متقطعة في البداية، ثم اتضحت الكلمات: .. ا…. ن… ا.. ق…. ت.. ل..ت .. ا .. ب .. ن .. ك أنا قتلت ابنك أنا قتلت ابنك . الأسلوب رائع وسلس ، والأحداث جاءت مضفرة بعناية شديدة ، أما الشخصيات فقد تم بنائها ببراعة .. شخصيات ثلاثية الأبعاد من عالم الواقع .. وليست مجرد ظلال باهتة كما تعودنا في معظم روايات الخيال العلمي .. تحفظي الوحيد – وهو مجرد رأي – كان علي فكرة المستمعين نفسها ، وهو شئ لا يؤثر بشدة علي رواية من أفضل ما قرأت عن فكرة الحكم الشمولي وعوالم الغد .. صدقني – وبلا أدني مجاملة – لقد استمتعت كقارئ علي مدي ثلاث ساعات بالرواية .. ولقد رشحتها لعدد من أصدقائي المهتمين بالخيال العلمي
