About the Author: (1306 AH / November 15, 1889 – 1393 AH / October 28, 1973 AD), an Egyptian writer and critic, was called the Dean of Arabic Literature. He changed the Arabic novel, the creator of the biography in his book “The Days”, which was published in 1929. He is considered one of the most prominent figures in the modern Arab literary movement. The ideas and positions of Taha Hussein still raise controversy until today. He studied at Al-Azhar, then joined the Ahlia University when it opened in 1908, obtained a doctorate in 1914, then was sent to France to complete the study. He returned to Egypt to work as a professor of history and then as a professor of the Arabic language. He worked as Dean of the Faculty of Arts, then Director of Alexandria University, then Minister of Education. Among his most famous books are: On Pre-Islamic Poetry (1926) and The Future of Culture in Egypt (1938).

Author: Mustafa Mahmoud

About the Author: (December 27, 1921 – October 31, 2009), Egyptian philosopher, physician, and writer. He is Mustafa Kamal Mahmoud Hussein Al Mahfouz, from the nobles, and his lineage ends with Ali Zain al-Abidin. His father died in 1939 after years of paralysis. He studied medicine and graduated in 1953, specializing in chest diseases, but devoted himself to writing and research in 1960. He married in 1961 and the marriage ended in divorce in 1973. He had two sons, Amal and Adham. He remarried in 1983 to Mrs. Zainab Hamdi, and this marriage also ended in divorce in 1987. He has authored 89 books, including scientific, religious, philosophical, social and political books, in addition to tales, plays and travel stories. His style is characterized by gravity, depth and simplicity. Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud presented more than 400 episodes of his famous TV program (Science and Faith), and in 1979 he established his mosque in Cairo known as “Mostafa Mahmoud Mosque”. It has three medical centers concerned with the treatment of people with limited income, and many of the people of Egypt go to it due to its medical reputation, and it has formed convoys of mercy from sixteen doctors. The center includes four astronomical observatories, and a geology museum, on which specialized professors are based. The museum includes a group of granite rocks, mummified butterflies in various shapes and some marine creatures. The correct name of the mosque is “Mahmoud” and he named it after his father.

About the Author: Mustafa Lutfi bin Muhammad Lutfi bin Hassan Lutfi is an Egyptian writer and poet who excelled in creation and literature. He was unique in his articles in a pure style. He has good poetry in which there is gentleness. He has done a lot of translation and quoting from some of the famous French literature novels in a unique literary style, and a very wonderful Arabic formulation. He was not fluent in the French language, so he used his friends who were translating novels for him, and then he drafted and refined them in a literary form. His two books, Looks and Lessons, are among the most informed of what was written in the modern era. Mustafa Lutfi Al-Manfaluti was born in Manfaluti, one of the cities of Assiut Governorate, in the year 1289 AH corresponding to 1876 AD. Then his father sent him to Al-Azhar in Cairo under the auspices of his comrades from his country, and he was given the opportunity to study at the hands of Sheikh Muhammad Abdo, and after the death of his teacher, Al-Manfaluti returned to his country, where he stayed for two years, devote himself to studying the books of ancient literature. A special style depends on his feeling and sensitivity of himself. Al-Manfaluti was one of the writers whose method of construction had an impact on the present generation. He tended to read literary books a lot, and he adhered to Sheikh Muhammad Abdo and benefited from him. He was imprisoned for six months because of a poem he uttered insultingly to Khedive Abbas Helmy and was at odds with Muhammad Abdo, and he published several articles in Al-Moayyad newspaper under the title of looks.
