About the Author: Egyptian Islamic writer. He was born in the village of Shershaba, affiliated to Zefta Center, Gharbia Governorate, Arab Republic of Egypt. His birth was in the month of Muharram 1350 AH, on the first day of June 1931 AD. For four years, he remained there until the age of seven, when he memorized most parts of the Qur’an. After completing his secondary studies, he joined the Qasr Al-Ainy College of Medicine, where he graduated in 1960. He traveled to the United Arab Emirates in 1968 and worked there as a doctor, then as director of health culture, and then returned to his homeland (Tanta); To fight a fierce battle with pancreatic cancer, which did not last more than six months, after which he met his Lord one day after the blessed Eid al-Fitr, in Shawwal 1415 AH – March 1995 AD. The novels of his first prose work in prison in 1956 AD, inaugurated by the novel The Long Way, which won the award of the Ministry of Education in 1957 AD and then decided to teach secondary school students in the second grade of secondary in 1959 AD. The Promised Day novel, 1960, which won the award of the Supreme Council for the Protection of Arts and Letters in Egypt in the same year, a novel in the dark that won the same award in the following year 1961 AD, Hamza’s killer novel, The Light of God, Night and Rods of Men and Wolves, the story of Jadallah, The Processions of the Free, Omar appears in Jerusalem. Turkestan nights. Northern giants. Mountain Princess. The late writer Najib Al-Kilani was able to present an image of the desired Islamic literature, and proved that it is closely related to the reality of life, stands tall in the face of other literatures, and responds scientifically to trivial creations, through a serious life that was full of literary bids, as the scholar “Abu Al-Hassan Al-Nadawi” said. He is known to be the only writer who came out with the novel outside the borders of his country, and toured it and many other countries, interacting with their different environments. “On the Walls of Damascus”, in Palestine “Omar appears in Jerusalem”, Indonesia in “The Virgin of Jakarta”, and Turkestan in “Turkistan Nights”, in which he predicted the fall of communism more than thirty years ago. And the writer, in general, if he does not have that ability to foresee and predict next to the artistic vision, then there is no good in many of his works. Al-Kilani, may God have mercy on him, was able to employ many of the mechanisms of narrative art in his poetry, so he used symbol, mask, dialogue, narration, successive expression, flashback (remembering the past and going back) and paradox, and clips cut through the unique expressive forms and contents, as seen by Dr. . Jaber Qameha, the first of his collections of “Nahwa Al-Ula” in 1950, when he was a high school student, the last of which was “The Pearl of the Gulf”, which is the unfinished diwan, passing through “How to Meet You”, “The Age of Martyrs”, “Songs of Strangers” and “City of Major Sins”, and ” Migrant” and “Songs of the Long Night”. When he reached the age of ten, his father traveled with him to Hadhramaut to raise an Arab and Islamic upbringing there with his father’s brothers. He reached the city of Seiyun in Hadhramaut on Rajab 15, 1338 AH corresponding to April 5, 1920 AD. There he received his education at the Nahda Scientific School and studied Arabic and Sharia sciences at the hands of eminent sheikhs, including his uncle, the linguist and grammarian judge Muhammad bin Muhammad Bakathir. He also received religious sciences at the hands of the jurist Muhammad bin Hadi al-Saqqaf. . Bakathir’s talents appeared early, so he composed poetry when he was thirteen years old, and he taught at the Renaissance School and took over its administration when he was under twenty years old. Bakathir arrived in Egypt in 1352 AH, corresponding to 1934 AD, and joined Fouad I University (currently Cairo University), where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts, Department of English Language in 1359 AH / 1939 AD, and in 1936 AD, while studying at the university, he translated Shakespeare’s play (Romeo and Juliet) In sent poetry, and two years later – that is, in 1938 AD – he composed his play (Akhenaten and Nefertiti) with free poetry, to be the pioneer of this type of system in Arabic literature. After graduating from university, Bakathir joined the Institute of Education for Teachers and obtained a diploma in 1940, and worked as an English language teacher for fourteen years. Bakathir traveled to France in 1954 on a free scholarship. After the end of the study, he preferred to reside in Egypt, where he loved the Egyptian society and interacted with it, so he married a conservative Egyptian family, and his relationship with men of thought and literature became close, such as Al-Akkad, Tawfiq Al-Hakim, Al-Mazini, Muhib Al-Din Al-Khatib, Naguib Mahfouz, Saleh Jawdat and others. ولم تكن أم الفضل تعلم حين أرسلت كلمتها تلك معربة عن قلقها على شقيقتها، أن شقيقتها قد تركت منذ ضحى ذلك اليوم دار الوزارة التى كان يقيم فيها شاور مع أهله وانتقلت بحاشيتها وخدمها وحشمها إلى “بيت سعيد السعداء” الذى يملكه زوجها والذى كان قد نزل بأهله فيه أول مقدمة من الصعيد قبل أن يلى الوزارة بقليل. ولا كانت تعلم أيضا أن رجال ضرغام لم يتركوها بعد ما تركت لهم دار الوزارة، بل ظلوا يتعقبونها فى بيتها الجديد، فطرقوا بابه عليها ليلا فروعوها وروعوا حاشيتها، ثم اقتحموه، فطفقوا يفتشونه حجرة حجرة وركنا ركنا وهم يبحثون عن شاور لعله أن يكون مختبئا في، فلما لم يجدوا له أثرا، أقبل رئيس الجماعة نحوها فى وقاحة وسوء أدب فقال لها فى غلظة وتهديد: خبرينا الآن يا هذه.. أين هرب زوجك! فاستشاطت أم سليمان غضبا وصاحت فى وجهه: قبح الله من أرسلك، ألم يجد رجلا غيرك يعرف كيف يخاطب النساء ويحترم آداب البيوت؟ -ويلك أما تعرفين من أنا؟ -من تكون؟ -أنا همام بن سوار أخو ضرغام الذى ألصق أنف زوجك بالرغام! -حقا قد نم أصلك عن سوء أدبك.. والله لئن يكون أخوك مثلك ليكونن سبة هذا البلد إلى الأبد! -آه لو لم تكونى امرأة! -ماذا كنت تصنع أكثر مما صنعت؟ -خبرينى أين اختبأ زوجك؟ -لو كنتم تفقهون لعلمتم أن أبا سليمان لا يختبىء فى البيوت كالنساء. -فأين ذهب؟ -يالك من أريب ألمعى! ترانى قابعة هنا فى بيتى وتسألنى أين ذهب، ذهب ليضرمها نارا عليكم! -هيهات! لنمسكنه غدا فلنصلبنه على باب القنطرة! -إن ظفرتم بأبى سليمان فلا تستشيرونى فيه! فانتفض همام غضبا، وتهدج صوته وهو يقول متشفيا: إذن فاعلمى يا أم سليمان أن سليمان قد ذبح. فانتفضت أم سليمان جزعا ثم تجلدت وقالت: إن يكن ما تقول حقا فلا بأس، قد بقى لى طىء وشجاع. -وطئ أيضا قد ذبح! فوجمت أم سليمان هنية ونظرت إلى من حولها من الحاشية فوجدتهم جميعا واجمين، وكأنما أشفقت أن يقول لها: “وشجاع أيضا” فصمتت ولم تجب، ولكن هماما مضى يقول: “ولولا أن ضرغام أخى قد غلبه الكرم وهزته الأريحية لألحق شجاعا أيضا بأخويه”! وهنا استعبرت أم سليمان إذ قطعت هذه الجملة كل شك عندها فى صدق ما سمعت. فلو كان يريد ترويعها بالكذب لزعم لها أيضا ذبح شجاع. فلاذت بمنديلها تجفف به دمعها، ثم التفتت إلى همام وقالت له فى صوت هادئ. -إذا رجعت إلى أخيك ضرغام فبلغه عنى السلام وقل له: تقول لك أم شجاع جزاك الله عن ابنها خيرا! فأطرق همام لما سمع هذه الكلمة كأنما يلوم نفسه على ما بدر منه فى حق هذه السيدة الثكلى من الغلظة والجفاء، ثم رفع رأسه فى حياء وتمتم قائلا دون أن ينظر إليها: سأبلغه رسالتك يا أم سليمان!.. قال ذلك وأومأ إلى رجاله فخرجوا خلفه.
