Ahmed Zaki Abu Shadi was born in the Abdin district of Cairo in 1892 AD. His father was Muhammad Abu Shadi Bey, who was the head of the Bar Association, and a prominent member of the Wafd Party. Our poet graduated in the field of science until he joined the medical school in Qasr Al-Aini, and in 1913 he traveled to England to study medicine, and learned the English language until he became skilled in it, and became acquainted with its literature, then specialized in bacteriology until he became an agent of the Faculty of Medicine, then turned to beekeeping and established The International Bee Club, and he also founded the Society of Arabic Language Arts, but he did not like his standing in Egypt, where his innovative doctrine in poetry was hit with slaps of criticism and attack; He immigrated to New York in 1946, wrote in some of its Arabic newspapers, worked in commerce and radio, and formed a literary association in New York called the Minerva Association, which included a number of Arab and American writers and thinkers. He also taught Arabic at the Asia Institute in New York. Ahmed Zaki Abu Shadi left the literary field a huge literary legacy, and he published a large number of collections, including: “The Weeping Twilight”, “Ihsan”, “Rays of Shadows”, “The Torch”, and “Fuq Al-Abbab”. He has authored theatrical plays, including: “The Play of the Gods”, “Akhenaten”, and “Pharaoh of Egypt”. In the scientific field, he published a number of journals supporting this field; He issued the “Kingdom of the Bees” magazine, and issued the “Study Industries” magazine, and compiled the book “The Doctor and the Laboratory” in a huge volume. في زمن الحرب، راما الرمحي تربط الحب بالحرب وتشير إلى أنه بديل لكل المصائب التي تمرّ بها شعوبنا العربية. صدر حديثا للكاتبة الأردنية الشابة راما الرمحي روايتها الأولى “يا ليته يعلم” عن الآن ناشرون وموزعون في عمّان. تقع الرواية في حوالي مئتي صفحة من القطع المتوسط، قصة الحب تقع بين طالبة سورية مهاجرة وطالب عراقي يدرسان في جامعة أردنية، مشاعر الحب العارمة في قلب كل منهما تجاه الآخر تظل حبيسة صدري المحبين حتى نهايات الرواية. يعرف القارئ عن هذه العلاقة من خلال السرد الروائي الذي تناوبت فيه الشخصيتان البوح، يتعرف القارئ من خلاله على حجم تلك المشاعر التي يكنُّها كل منهما للآخر. وما يعيقهما من الاعتراف لبعضهما بتلك المشاعر، هو المكابرة من جهة الفتاة الملتزمة دينيا، والمحافظة اجتماعيا بعض الشيء، والخجل من جهة الشاب. مشاعر الحب المتأججة عند الشابين تتفجر، تفرض على كل منهما تجاوز العقبات التي كانت تحول دون اقتراب كل منهما من الآخر، عندما تجمعهما صدفة رحلة علمية مشتركة إلى دولة أجنبية، تجعلهما يتواصلان مع بعضهما بشكل مباشر، وتنفضح مشاعر الحب النبيلة من خلال سلوك كل منهما تجاه الآخر من اهتمام واعتناء ببعضهما، يتجلى بعضها على شكل تضحيات تقوم بها الفتاة، عندما تجد الشاب الذي تحب يمر بأزمة نفسية، كادت أن تحول دون تخرجه من الجامعة بسبب عدم تقديمه تقرير تخرج نهائي، فتكتبه هي عنه وتقدِّمه من دون علمه، ليحصل به على علامة أعلى من علامتها. في مقدمتها كتبت الكاتبة تقول: أعتقد أن الكتابة عن الأشخاص طقس من طقوس الغباء، فالكتابة خلود بين السطور، والحروف أطول من الأحياء أعماراً. لا نستطيع تخليد بشريٍّ تعصف به رياح الحياة، تُقلب مشاعره، تُبدِّل أفكاره، يمرُّ في فصولٍ انتقالية: يشعّ كشمس الصيف تارةً، وينطفئ تارةً أخرى. يُمطر خيراً، ثم يقسو ويجف كيومٍ ثلجيّ بارد لا يكترث لفقيرٍ يختبئ تحت سقفٍ متهاوٍ وجدرانٍ اكتستها الرطوبة وبابٍ لا يُغلق بإحكام. يُزهر كالربيع.. ثم يتساقط كأوراق الخريف. بشرٌ يتقلبُ عليه ليلٌ ونهارٌ في يومٍ واحد، أربعةُ فصولٍ في العام ذاته، بربكم أخبروني كيف يكون ثابتاً لنخلد شخصه في كتاب؟! نحن نكتب موقفاً أثّر بنا، حدثاً غيّر تضاريس عقلنا، أو فكرة. قد تجد أحدَ مبادئك بين سطوري، أفكارك، أو شيئاً مرّ بك لكن لا تبحث عن ذاتك!” يذكر أن الكاتبة راما الرمحي من مواليد مدينة عمّان سنة 1996، وهي طالبة الصيدلة في جامعة العلوم التطبيقية في عمّان.
