About the Author: Born in 1945, he studied English at the Faculty of Arts – Cairo University, and graduated in 1966, then obtained a diploma in Shakespearean theater at Oxford University in England in 1969, then joined the American University in Cairo and obtained a master’s degree in mass communication in 1975. Muhammad Salmawy was appointed as a language teacher English and its literature at the Faculty of Arts – Cairo University in 1966, and in 1970 he moved to Al-Ahram newspaper to work as an editor for foreign affairs, and in 1988 he was appointed as an undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture for Foreign Relations.
