About the Author: Jean-Paul Charles Emard Sartre (21 June 1905 Paris – 15 April 1980 Paris) was a French philosopher, novelist, playwright, screenwriter, literary critic and political activist. He started his working life as a teacher. He studied philosophy in Germany during World War II. When Nazi Germany occupied France, Sartre joined the underground French resistance. Sartre was known and famous for being a prolific writer and for his literary works and his philosophy called Existentialism, and secondly his political affiliation with the extreme left. Sartre was a constant companion of the philosopher and writer Simone de Beauvoir, whom her political enemies called the “Great Sartre.” Although their philosophy is close, he does not like to confuse them. The two writers have influenced each other. Sartre’s literary works are rich in themes and philosophical texts of unequal sizes such as Being and Nothingness (1943), the Existential Brief Humanism (1945) or the Critique of Dialectical Reason (1960) and also literary texts in the collection of short stories such as The Wall or his novels such as Nausea (1938) and the trilogy Freedom Roads (1945). Sartre also wrote in theater such as The Flies (1943), The Closed Room (1944), The Virtuous Whore (1946), The Devil and the Good God (1951) and The Prisoners of Altona (1959) and these works were a large part of his literary output. Late in his life, in 1964, Sartre published a book dealing with the first eleven years of his life entitled The Words, in addition to a large study on Gustave Flaubert in a book entitled The Fool of the Family (1971-1972). He has also published biographies of many writers such as Tintoretto, Mallarmé, Charles Baudelaire, and Jean Genet. Sartre has always refused to be honored because of his devotion to himself and his ideas, and it is worth noting that he refused to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature, but only accepted the title of Doctor honoris causa from the University of Jerusalem in 1976.

جلسة سرية book pdf download By Jean Paul Sartre

Author: Nawal El Saadawi

About the Author: Nawal El Saadawi: She is one of the most controversial figures; Where it is difficult for the reader to stand in a middle position, either he is with her or he is against her. She is the most famous of those who called for the liberation of women from their chains, and who openly disobeyed what she called the “male society.” Nawal El-Sayed El-Saadawi was born in Kafr Talha, Dakahlia Governorate, in 1931 AD, to a middle-class family; Her father was an employee of the Ministry of Education, and he played a major role in her life, from him she learned to rebel against the restrictions of society, and that the constants that she does not believe in are idols that are easy to destroy. As for her mother, she is a simple country lady, from whom her daughter inherited the skin and the responsibility. Nawal El Saadawi completed her university studies and graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1955. Despite the constant struggle within it between literature and medicine, one of them did not win the battle. Our author was a feisty physician and a questionable writer. She was married three times, and her marriage resulted in a son and a girl, and it was her last marriage to “Sherif Hatata” that propelled her work to the international level by translating it into English. Nawal El-Saadawi wrote more than fifty different works between the novel, the story, the play and the biography, and played with her pen on the Holy Trinity (religion, sex and politics) to undermine it; It calls for women to be liberated from the bondage of men, flying to a broader horizon than equality itself. When the woman wore the hijab in a religious manner, her mind concealed before her hair, and the man lifted it in the name of sex. On the cusp of politics, she lost everything and spent her life defending women; Her freedom was deprived, she was dismissed from her job, her name was included in the list of assassinations, and she had no choice but to search for freedom and safety elsewhere, but wherever she went, the issue of women was her greatest concern, so she kept writing about and to her. Despite her efforts in defending Egyptian and Arab women’s issues, she was celebrated by several non-Arab countries, and she was also nominated for a Nobel Prize. The name Nawal El Saadawi remains one of the most important names engraved in the imagination of feminist literature.

Author: Ahmad Shawqi

About the Author: Ahmed Shawky: An Egyptian poet, considered one of the greatest Arab poets in various eras. Writers and poets of his time pledged allegiance to him over the emirate of poetry, so he was called the “Prince of Poets”. He had a unique poetic talent, and a fluid pen. He did not find any trouble in composing poetry, as meanings always flowed to him like a flowing river. That is why he was one of the most fertile Arab poets, and his poetic output reached what almost no ancient or modern Arab poet had reached him, as the number of verses of his poetry exceeded twenty-three thousand and five hundred. Ahmed Shawqi Ali was born in the Hanafi district of Cairo in 1868 AD, to a Circassian father and a mother of Greek origins, but he was raised and raised by his maternal grandmother who worked as a maid in the Khedive Ismail Palace. Shawqi, at the age of four, entered the book, where he memorized a portion of the Qur’an, and then moved to complete his primary education. The boy showed a fondness for poetry in his childhood, which made him dedicate himself to poets’ collections, so he memorized and extracted from it as much as he could. When he completed fifteen years of age, he joined the translation department, which Recently established at the School of Law, he then traveled to France to complete his legal studies, and despite his presence in Paris at the time, he showed only a limited influence on French culture, as he was not impressed by French poets such as: Rimbaud, Baudelaire, and Verlaine. His heart remained attached to the Arab poets, on top of them Al-Mutanabbi. Ahmed Shawky is considered one of the founders of the School of Revival and Resurrection of Poetry, along with: Mahmoud Sami Al-Baroudi, Hafez Ibrahim, Ali Al-Jarm, and Ahmed Muharram.
