About the Author: Michael Allingham is a fellow at Oxford University’s Maudlin College. He studied natural philosophy and then political economy at the University of Edinburgh, after which he taught at a number of universities in the United Kingdom and the United States, and worked as a visiting professor at a number of universities in Austria, Canada, France and Italy. His books include: “The Theory of Markets” and “Rational Choice”.
