About the Author: An Egyptian novelist and short story writer, born in Alexandria. Ibrahim Abdel Meguid has published ten novels, including “The Night of Love and Blood,” “The Other Town,” “The House of Jasmine,” “No One Sleeps in Alexandria,” “Birds of Amber.” He also published five collections of short stories, namely, “The Trees and the Birds,” Close the windows”, “Spaces”, “Old Ships”, “An Engina Night”. His novel “The Other Town” has been translated into English, French and German.
