About the Author: Scott Madry is a professor emeritus of the International Space University, and is a research associate professor of archaeology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was previously on the faculty of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Before that he was a senior project manager at the Institute for Technology Development’s Space Remote Sensing Center at the NASA Stennis Space Center. He specializes in the applications of space systems for environmental and cultural resource management, and the commercialization of space technologies.
