عن كتاب مجلس العدل: يتكون الكتاب من ثلاث مسرحيات ذات فصل واحد، المسرحية الأولي تحمل المجموعة اسمها وهو “مجلس العدل”. تحكي مسرحية “مجلس العدل” عن صداقة بين فرّان وقاضٍ، الصداقة قائمة علي المصلحة، يرتكب الفران العديد من الجرائم؛ ويقوم القاضي بتبرئته من كل التهم الموجهة إليه بعدل محكمته الزائف. المسرحية الثانية “تقرير قمري” تحكي عن كائنات قمرية تهبط إلي كوكب الأرض لمراقبة البشر وتقديم تقرير كامل عنهم وعن طباعهم، تعني هذه المسرحية بموضوع أثير عند توفيق الحكي؛ القضاء علي الجوع، وهي فكرة تناولها في مسرحية “الطعام لكل فم” من قبل. المسرححية الثالثة والأخيرة، شاعر علي القمر، تدور أحداثها عن رحلة فضاء يوم بها ثلاثة أشخاص؛ رائدان فضاء وشاعر. يري الشاعر وحده علي سطح القمر كائنات قمرية، يدور بينهم حوار لا يسمعه الرائدان الآخران. في نهاية الرحلة يجمع الرائدان مجموعة من الصخور الذهبية والماسية ويقرران اخفاء أمرها عن العالم عد دولتهما، وهنا يقع الخلاف بينهما وبين الشاعر، لكن الكائنات القمرية تساعد الشاعر.
