About the Author: Fatiha Morchid (born March 14, 1958, Ben Slimane, Morocco) is a Moroccan poet and novelist, holder of a doctorate in medicine in 1985 and a diploma in pediatrics in 1990. She supervised the preparation and presentation of a health education program on the Moroccan Channel Two for several years. She also supervised the “Poetry Moment” segment in the cultural program “Diwan” on the same channel. She is a member of the Moroccan Writers Union. She won the Morocco Prize for Poetry in 2011. She participated in poetry readings in several cultural forums inside and outside Morocco. Some of her works have been translated into French, English, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, Danish, German and Swedish. Her books: – Poetry: “Gestures”: (Poetry) – House of Culture – Casablanca, 2002. “أنتِ محظوظة، كم تمنيت أن يكون لي أب روحي أتعلم منه حكمة… تكفّلت الحياة في غيابه بتعليمي… ماذا علمتكَ الحياة؟… قالت لي: أن تعيش هو أن تتعلم المضي قدماً مثقلاً بما ينقصك… أجل حبيبي… أول ما نتعلمه منها هو أننا حتماً نفقد من نحبهم وعلينا أن نستمر من دونهم… انتباني رعب ساعتها، وأنا أفكر في نفسي، بأنني لست مستعداً لأن أفقدها… ولا أعتقد بانه من الممكن أن أستمر بعدها… التقينا في زمن الحب المقتضب كالرسائل الإلكترونية… وأحببتها على طريقة زمن الرسائل المعتّقة كنبيذ الشفاه… قبلتها بحدة خوفي وأنا أستعيد بيتاً شعرياً لعمر الخيام: أسعد باللحظة… فهذه اللحظة هي حياتك”. الحق في الرحيل، رواية تحكي قصة حب عفوي، نبت كزهرة ربيع رغم أن حياة العاشقين كانت أميل للخريف من العمر. نما الأمل في قلبيهما، وتكرس في الزواج والاستقرار، لا بل في الاستمتاع بالعيش، بحسب الرغبة التي عادة ما يدفنها الإنسان لعدم سماح ظروف الحياة بتحقيقها. هذه الظروف نفسها هي التي ستفسد صورة هذا الحب. وهنا تطرح الرواية قضية إنسانية أخرى ليس من السهل التعامل معها. إنها تضع الإنسان أمام مرآة لا ترحم، يقف أمامها وكأنه لا يستطيع مغادرة النظر إلى ذاته التي يحاول إقناعها بما لا تقدر عليه. إنه طلب الموت الذي يرجوه إنسان آخر منك، فمن تكون عندها: القاتل أم المخلّص؟ وكيف ستعيش صراع القيم والمشاعر بعد الرحيل الذي أنجزته أنت؟ وهل طلب الموت حقّ يطلبه إنسان من إنسان آخر؟ هل هناك موت رحيم؟ تمنح رواية “الحق في الرحيل” قارئها متعة خاصة في سبر أغوار الثقافات وخصوصياتها عبر الأماكن والشخوص وحاسة الذوق، حيث تمتزج الثقافة العربية بالأمازيغية والآسيوية بالأوروبية.. كما تتيح له السفر في أعماق النفس البشرية من خلال تتبع العلاقات والغوص في مكونات العواطف الحبلى بالأحاسيس الإنسانية والأفعال وردود الأفعال والمواقف.
