About the Author: He holds a Master’s degree in Anesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Management, Department of Anesthesia, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in 2012, and a Ph.D. in Anesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Management, Department of Anesthesia, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in 2016. He works as an assistant lecturer in the Department of Anesthesia at Kasr Al-Ainy Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, and is a member of the Egyptian Writers Union. He has a number of literary works, including: the novel “The Book of Al-Aragoz” and “A Constitutional Glory” (literary text), the short story collection “The Little One, the owner of the bathroom,” the novel “Shawash” and the short story “Tarh Al Ikhayal.” His works also include the book “Playing with the Universe”, a book on science and its philosophy published in 2017, and the novel “Al-Muzayen”, which was issued by the General Authority for Cultural Palaces in 2017. He also has a number of scientific and literary articles and stories published in a number of periodicals and websites. Won the third place in the Central Competition of the Culture Palaces Authority, Short Story Branch, 2009; And second place in the Writers Union Youth Committee Competition, Abdel Moneim Shalaby Course, Short Story Branch, 2014.

«هِي كِتابةٌ تَجمَعُ بَينَ تَجارِبَ خاصَّةٍ لِي وأُخرَى عامَّة، فِيها تَسريباتٌ لأسرارِ مَعبدِ البِنجِ وإِشارةٌ إِلى أُخرَى، يَخلَعُ فِيها الطَّبيبُ البالطو الأَبيضَ لِلكَهنةِ وأَنصافِ الآلِهةِ ويَتحدَّثُ لُغةَ الفَانِين.» يَتناوَلُ هَذا الكِتابُ العَلاقةَ الإِنسانِيةَ فِي الشَّأنِ الطِّبيِّ بِطَريقةٍ أَدبيَّة، ويَسعَى إلى «أَنْسنةِ» غُرفةِ العَملِياتِ، وجِهازِ التَّخدِير، وغَازاتِ التَّخدِير، كَما يُسلِّطُ الضَّوءَ عَلى كَيفِيةِ الاسْتِفادةِ مِن مِيراثٍ إِنسَانيٍّ طَويلٍ مِنَ الحِكَايَاتِ والأَساطِير، قَاوَمَ بِه الإِنسانُ الخَوفَ والمَجهُول؛ فهُوَ عَرْضٌ لِتارِيخِ التَّخدِيرِ بِدايةً مِنَ الإِنسانِ البُدائِي، مُرورًا بالحَضارَاتِ القَدِيمة؛ مَعَ عَرضٍ لِتقْنِياتٍ غَايةٍ فِي الغَرَابة، وُصولًا إِلى الاكْتِشافَاتِ الحَدِيثةِ فِي هَذا المَجَال، مَعَ نَظرةٍ تَصَوُّريةٍ لِما سَيكُونُ عَلَيهِ التَّخدِيرُ فِي المُستَقبَل. ولَا يَخلُو الكِتابُ مِن سَردٍ لِتجرِبةِ المُؤلِّفِ الشَّخصِيةِ فِي هَذا المَجالِ مِن وَاقعِ دِراسَتهِ الأَكادِيمِية.
